FAQ: Classic GoBoat, GoBoat Cruise, Harbor Tours and GoBoat Pod

We recommend that you book in advance. But if you want to take it as it comes, you can always try your luck and show up.

You can choose to rebook or receive a 100% voucher or a refund up to 24 hours before sailing. In your order confirmation you will find a link where you can edit your ticket or cancel your sailing and receive a voucher (valid 12 months) instead.

You can cancel your booking and get a refund up to 24 hours before departure. This cannot be done automatically. Please read your booking confirmation that you received by email to get a refund. It usually takes up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If your sailing is less than 24 hours away, it is not possible to rebook, get a voucher or get a full refund.

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to GoBoat Harbor Tours bookings, cf. section 18(2) and (3) of the Consumer Contracts Act.

Food from Green Island and TS Smørrebrød is non-refundable. You can collect it at the originally booked time, even if your boat trip has been cancelled.

No, we don't offer cancellation protection for GoBoat Harbor Tours.

You can see the specific prices when you select the time and day in the booking system.

Buy individual tickets for a one-hour canal tour on our booking page. Choose the number of tickets, date and departure time. Enter your details and pay online.

There is no discount for buying multiple tickets. The regular Harbor Tours trip lasts one hour. Check the booking system for the current ticket price.

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure to make sure there is enough time for safety instructions.

If you show up late for your departure and the boat has sailed, we unfortunately cannot refund. So make sure you are there on time!

Public parking is possible at Islands Brygge on the nearby streets close to GoBoat.

GoBoat has no toilets of its own at Islands Brygge. You can use the toilets at Islands Brygge Kulturhus, including in winter. Please use the toilet before departure.

We have a defibrillator in our pavilion at GoBoat at Islands Brygge 10. You can find the nearest defibrillator along your route here or in the app TrygFonden Hjertestart.

You must be able to get into and out of our boats. Unfortunately, we do not have any handicap ramps or similar.

Yes, we have a wide selection at Islands Brygge. Including water, snacks, sodas, beer and wine.

The boat is covered when needed, and you can borrow blankets for free. Dress for the weather. Biodegradable ponchos are also available to buy.

It is still safe to sail in thunder and lightning. Our crew assess the conditions and decide whether a trip needs to be changed or cancelled. Strong winds can slow the boats down, so you may not be able to travel as far.

If we cancel your trip, you can choose to rebook, receive a voucher or get a refund. We will contact you as soon as possible. If you choose to cancel, the normal cancellation terms apply.

Yes. Life jackets for adults are stored on the boats. We also have life jackets for children and babies, which are handed out by our staff before departure.

Yes, we do. We have life jackets down to 5 kg. Life jackets for children and babies are provided by our crew before departure.

No, it doesn't, because a captain sails the boat for you (unlike our classic GoBoat, where you are the captain).

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks on board the boat. It must not be a nuisance to the other guests on board.

It is also possible to order from GoBoat when you book online. What you've ordered will be ready for you when we set sail.

No, unfortunately we do not store personal items. Remember to only bring what you can carry on board. GoBoat disclaims all responsibility and liability for personal items brought on board - including electronics, clothing, etc.

In Copenhagen, Islands Brygge you can borrow a chain lock for your stroller, folding chair, etc. so you can lock them to a nearby bike rack.

Yes. The captain sails the boat and tells you about Copenhagen and its sights along the way. Guiding is available in Danish and English, and the small group leaves room for questions.

Yes, beer and wine are allowed - no hard liquor. We ask for moderation and good behavior.

We also reserve the right to refuse drunk guests. In such a case, there will be no refund.

No. Smoking is not allowed on Harbor Tours. This includes cigarettes, hookahs and any other smoking.

You must be 18 years old to buy a ticket for GoBoat Harbor Tours and can of course buy tickets for your children.

No, you start and end in the same place.

Yes, small dogs are allowed on board. However, dogs are brought at your own risk and we do not have life jackets for dogs.

No. Instead, book GoBoat Cruise, where you have the whole boat to yourselves with a captain.
