Your GoBoat experience
A trip on a GoBoat is one of the highlights of the year for young and old alike. It's the perfect way to enjoy the sights of the city with friends, family and colleagues in the fresh air.
The Danish word Hygge is a big part of the van experience. Our Danish-designed rental boats have a picnic table in the middle, while the electric motor is almost silent. This makes it ideal for enjoying a quiet and calm sailing trip with room for picnics and good conversation on board.
While sailing should be fun and relaxing, we are aware that our impact on the environment should be as small as possible. Our maritime history teaches us to respect the water and the environment around us. We want to share this respect with you as a captain, so that together we take care of the water. Most of our sustainability initiatives are taken care of by us, so you can enjoy the trip at your leisure.
How GoBoat cares for the environment and water
- All our boats have electric motors
- Our boats are made responsibly. Some are made of reusable plastic while the newest boats and future ones are made of basalt materials
- The boats have a long life expectancy. Boats from when we opened in 2014 are still in use today
- We buy green electricity or create it ourselves with solar panels
- We sort our own waste and our guests help by sorting their waste adhering to local recycling rules
- We choose the most sustainable products for our shops
- We lend out fishing nets for the sail to collect waste from the water
