Graphic Design Internship at GoBoat

Spring 2024

Are you studying multimedia design, graphic design or something related? Are you looking for an internship for spring 2024? Are you detail-oriented and have a lot of drive? Do you like to think creatively and could you imagine working in an energetic and maritime environment? Then an internship at GoBoat might be for you.

Who is GoBoat?

GoBoat was brought to life in 2014 in Copenhagen with a desire to make the water accessible to everyone. We work to bring unique experiences and unforgettable memories on the water to as many people as possible.

At GoBoat, we respect our surroundings, which is why we treat the water with care. As daily users of the harbor we have a responsibility to help keep it clean. The idea behind GoBoat is with a sustainable mindset, which is reflected in everything from our environmentally friendly electric motors on the boats, the solar cells that help charge them and our sustainable wood, which both the pavilion at Islands Brygge and the boats' tables are made of.

We currently have bases located all over the world, including Copenhagen, London and Melbourne. We are growing in several locations around the world with new locations while introducing new concepts Therefore, we are always looking for new enthusiasts to help us spread the GoBoat maritime vibes.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a creative person who can tell our great stories in an inclusive and visual way. If you have a keen eye for detail, relish the creative editing process, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can bring your design talents to the forefront, we want to hear from you. Your contributions will be instrumental in conveying our mission: "Make water accessible to everyone" and telling the compelling story of a growing maritime experience. Maybe you are our next intern to join the marketing team in our office i Copenhagen K.

As an intern, your work will support our other marketing initiatives such as social media, newsletters, print material, website, etc. As the sender of our experience, it is important to be able to show all the amazing things that GoBoat entails in a creative and inspiring way. You will be creating designs to be used for several different GoBoat locations - Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Berlin.

It doesn't matter what you study. What matters is that you have the creative drive and ambition to make a difference. As an intern, you will be part of a marketing team of five people. You'll mostly work close together with our graphic designer whom will be your mentor during your internship.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential
  • Knowledge of video editing with Adobe Premiere would be a significant advantage
  • A flair for digital and social media is right up your alley
  • Bonus points for photography and film skills
  • Experience in the realm of digital and social media is a plus

We expect to start mid-January/early February 2024 and the internship period is a minimum of 3 months. The internship is located centrally in Copenhagen K.
