Hop aboard our brand new Pod - the coziest way to gather on the water during colder temperatures. Perfect for hygge with friends, family outings, romantic evening trips, or a different kind of after-work experience. Here you get warmth, comfort, and a magical view of the harbor - forget about rain and low temperatures!

The Pod’s large panoramic windows create a cozy, enclosed space where wind and rain stay out. Inside the Pod, soft ambient lighting sets the mood. With a blanket on your lap and a cushion at your back, you can fully enjoy the atmosphere and the view of the harbor and the city covered in beautiful hyggelige lights.

Cozy atmosphere in GoBoat Pod

Sail on an enchanting journey through the main canal

You start at Islands Brygge, from where you can sail either toward Sydhavnen or north to the Opera House and Amalienborg. Navigate through Copenhagen Harbor using the map in the boat or the digital map on your smartphone.

The Pods cannot enter the smaller canals, such as Frederiksholm Canal and Christianshavn Canal, as there isn’t enough clearance under the bridges. This just means you have more time to enjoy the main waterways. That way, you can feel more at ease knowing there’s plenty of space to manoeuvre the boat without risking contact with the dock.

We have spent a long time developing and testing the experience so we can open up the water in winter time as well. You will be among the first to try GoBoat Pod. That's why we would love to hear your feedback! If you give your feedback via our form after sailing, we'll give you a free 1 hour ride after the summer.

What does it cost to rent a GoBoat Pod?

1 hour: 649 DKK
2 hours: 1,129 DKK
3 hours: 1,499 DKK
The price is the same regardless of the number of people (maximum 8).

Get at least 100 DKK off during the introductory period by signing up for our newsletter at the top of the page! And we'll give you a one-hour Pod-ride after the summer if you give feedback after sailing.

How many seats per boat?

Just like in our classic GoBoat, this boat can also accommodate 8 people – the number includes adults, children (and babies). Dogs are also allowed.

How does the Pod work?

You sail the GoBoat Pod in the same way as a classic GoBoat. The entire boat- including the captain - is protected by a specially developed transparent material that keeps out rain, snow, and cold. At the entrance, you can open the Pod and zip it up when everyone is in the boat and ready to depart.

What is included in the price?

The pod keeps you warm and keeps the rain out. You can borrow blankets free of charge. Life vests are included just as cushions.

Stay warm on the water

We recommend adding heated seats to ensure you stay completely warm during the trip.

Even with colder temperatures in Denmark, a brisk sailing trip can still be an enjoyable experience. During low temperatures, it’s possible to add the popular heated seats from StaySeat, which keep both your back and bottom warm throughout the trip on the water. The heated seats have three heat settings, allowing you to adjust them to your needs.
